We welcome you in the walls of the Baltic Institute of Humanities!

 

 

       Today, from the mouths of top officials almost every day we hear the word innovation. The country's leadership understands that no further development of breakthrough technologies the country is impossible. What has once again confirmed the global economy in 2008, when energy prices in a few days and fell several times before our economy again arose problems such as budget deficits, unemployment, falling living standards. This once again confirms that the extensive way of development, which is to ensure that the increased volume of mining - vnikuda path.

 

       And our country needs to develop innovation for the prosperity of the nation and our institutions need to develop an innovative environment to maintain their competitiveness.

 

       We are the young private university of St. Petersburg. But despite such a short history of its existence, we had a lot.

 

       We have created the material basis for the full and harmonious development of our students:

- Renovated premises and the audience;

- Equipped them with modern technology;

- From scratch to create a library, numbering tens of thousands of books and periodicals on the areas of training of high school;

 - Equipped university digital library thus provided access to 40,000 electronic media and the Ministry of Education, our school is marked as university, applying innovative technologies.

 

        But it's time for a brand new turn in the development of innovation within our walls.

 

       many activities planned for the coming years in the framework of this program.

 

         Today our event special. After all, today we need to kick-start the development of a series of annual student scientific and practical conference dedicated to innovative technologies.

 

        And now I want to give the floor to the ideological inspirer of the conference and the master - Ph.D. Natalia Petrovna Grishkevich, vice-rector for scientific work.
